Where does the fish come from?

This rainbow trout comes to us from the deep cold waters of Manitoulin Island. Manitoulin Island is the world’s largest freshwater island. It sits on the north end of Lake Huron in one of the cleanest waters of the world.

The whole process is three step. So far, we have yet to visit the spawning farm (as it is in British Columbia). We have visited the hatchery in Hanover-Durham and the trout farm in the North Channel above Manitoulin Island. Check out these pictures.

The whitefish is caught wild in the same part of the world.

We can make other varieties of fish available to you and try to get it from Canada but we make no guarantees about you. Bringing it to you is simply a service we provide.
